The event was attended by over 80 board members, community partners, and regional business leaders, who were welcomed by PCFWD Vice-chair Mark Stefanick, Senior Rewards, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc.

Kaine, Portman Introduce Bill to Support Job Training and Skilled Infrastructure Jobs

U.S. Senators Tim Kaine and Rob Portman, introduced the Building U.S. Infrastructure by Leveraging Demands for Skills (BUILDS) Act to ensure that workers are prepared with the skills needed for jobs in fields such as construction, transportation and energy that would be created by major investment in infrastructure.

Lisa Wornom-Zahralddin has been named new Assistant Vice President for Private/Public Partnerships.  Her role at PCFWD will involve realigning industry clusters, investor relations, special projects and business initiatives.
