Developing solutions to the Healthcare Industries' Workforce Needs
In order to implement effective regional solutions to the pressing current and future health care workforce needs, the Peninsula Council for Workforce Development has convened an extensive network of regional educational, community and health organizations. Partners in the Partnership include the three largest healthcare employers in the region (Sentara Healthcare, Bon Secours and Riverside Health Systems), Thomas Nelson Community College, the College of William and Mary, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Medical Career Institute of ECPI, Williamsburg/James City County School's Lafayette School of Practical Nursing, two Community Action Agencies, the Peninsula Agency on Aging, the Center for Excellence in Aging and Geriatric Health, Eastern State Hospital, Peninsula Worklink, and other supporting organizations.

Healthcare Education and Training Centers Inventory
The Greater Peninsula Healthcare Workforce Partnership has developed a Healthcare Careers Education and Training Centers Inventory for the Peninsula, South Hampton Roads and Richmond. The Inventory below includes up to date information on training programs available for Health Care Professions in this area.
